TATTOO INFO
An extremely thorough compilation of any and all information regarding my tattoos.
> Can I commission you to design something a different artist can tattoo?
I do not do tattoo commissions for my designs that other artists can tattoo. I am working hard on my style so it is important to me that I am the one tattooing my designs. Please keep an eye out for any traveling I do!
> Where are you located?
I am based out of a private studio in Houston, Texas. I will travel a couple times throughout the year for work.
> I got an email/DM/message from you to book an appointment, how do I know it is you?
BEWARE OF SCAMS!!!!!1!!!!!!!!1!!!! Unless you have already gotten a tattoo from me I will NEVER personally reach out to book an appointment. You will NOT be requested for a deposit unless you have filled out a booking form that can only be received if you have signed up for my newsletter email list. I will not help you figure out if you have been scammed, nor am I responsible in any way if you get bamboozled. Stay safe out there.
> When do your books open?
Books open through my newsletter. Openings are sporadic so keep an eye on your email.
> Do you freehand your designs?
I freehand most designs that I tattoo. Some illustrative claimable designs I will not freehand if my printer is working and the design is clean enough to print. Drawing the design on the body can take between 30 – 60+ minutes. I have a bad reputation with the printer and I find it extremely fun to draw the design on my clients. If you are someone who needs to see all the details before you consent to getting tattooed, I am not the right artist for you. Many small details are pieced into the design along the way based on a combination of your preference and my vision (depending on if it is a custom design or my concept).
> What is your tattoo creative process like?
Claimable designs are 90% complete drawings ready to be tattooed and closely represent the final product. These are usually illustrative. If you book for a custom piece or concept that is more abstract, the draft and concept drawings are NOT what the final tattoo will look like. If there is something you see in the concept drawing or draft that you really want to see applied to the final piece you MUST communicate this in the booking process. Abstract drawings can easily be interpreted into something you see that I don’t, please do not assume I see what you see. I have a loose creative process especially for larger pieces. I have an organic style and process. If you bring me an idea I will work with it to create something through my interpretation, which means you must be ready and willing to surrender a lot of trust and acceptance to what the final product is. This process does not make me compatible with every client so please take this into heavy consideration.
> Do you have a visual guide I can use as a reference to see how long my tattoo will take?
Please refer to the tattoo process guide document for visual understanding!
> Do you do service trades?
I’m down to trade/discount my service for an equivalently priced product/service (with some discretion ofc). This is mainly with other creatives and small businesses in mind! If you would like to see if we can do a trade please leave a link to your business page/info in the booking form, sometimes I do need money tho so no promises lol)
> What is your rate?
I have two flat rates. Subject to change when traveling.
Half day rate: $850
Full day rate: $1250
I offer ranged discounted rates for melanated skin tones. This is to make myself available to black and brown clients. If you have melanated skin I can apply a discount within the range below. This will usually be case by case and can be claimed on an honor system if you think it applies to you.
Melanated skin half day rate: $500 – $700
Melanated skin full day rate: $800 – $1000
> How is the deposit and payment collected?
The deposit will be invoiced to you electronically after a date is confirmed. The deposit is $250 per appointment. It is non-refundable.
If you are booking one session and the total price is $500, you pay the deposit of $250 upon booking, and $250 at the end of the appointment.
If you are booking two sessions and the total price is $1000, you pay the deposit of $500 upon booking, and $500 at the end of the appointment.
Etc.
At the end of the appointment, payment can be collected through zelle or credit card. Cash is accepted but I prefer it if cash is used for tips. It is not my preferred method but if I am traveling out of the country or all else fails I will use paypal.
> Do I need to tip you?
It is not necessary or expected for you to tip me. I charge what I need. Tips are always greatly appreciated though!
> Why do you discount your rate for clients with melanated skin?
I want to master my craft and I want to be able to tattoo on all skin types and reach people of all backgrounds. I believe I must consider systemic economic disparities between different demographics in order to actually have this desire be achieved. I understand that if I do not discount my rates, my portfolio will stagnate in diversity. If you feel like my discount for you is unnecessary, just let me know and I can charge my regular rate!
> What time do you usually work?
Half day: 1pm – 5pm
Full Day: 1pm – 8pm
For clients traveling to me, the time slot can be moved within the frame of 11:30am – 10pm, but my usual hours are typically what work best for me. If I am working at a different studio the times are subject to change based on the shop’s hours.
> What type of things do you prioritize?
I prioritize POC, return clients, and people looking to do large projects.
> Do you charge extra for custom designs?
Nope. For both return and new clients, I am much more selective about what custom requests I take on.
> Can I request modifications to your claimable designs?
Yes! I am open to minor adjustments and changes as long as it is not a request to minimize the design. I usually do not enjoy doing portions of a concept I have made unless it is being integrated into another project somehow.
> Can I get one of your claimable designs if I already have tattoos in some areas the design is supposed to go?
Depends! I enjoy working with client’s existing tattoos and going behind/around them to create a cohesive look. But depending on the design I will want there to be open space in certain areas. I recommend listing alternative designs if this is a concern you have, and the rest can be further discussed if you are selected for booking.
> Will I receive a draft if I book a custom design?
You will receive a draft if requested. I usually send drafts out the night before the appointment and leave changes to be discussed in person. My drafts can be really rough, so if you have a specific vision it would be extremely helpful to provide a lot of references and explanations.
> Do you travel for work? Can I fly you out to where I am?
I travel to a couple of different cities per year as a guest artist! Travel dates are usually very tentative. Travel plans will be announced through my newsletter. When I gain more experience with full body designs, I will look into individual client travel requests for those wanting to get large scale projects who live far away.
> Can I get a large design if it is my first tattoo?
Yes! I have done many large first tattoos. My general advice is if you can sit with the idea for a year or more you should be well enough prepared. The younger you are the more reluctant I will be to start a huge project with you.
> Can I pay to claim a design even if I won’t be able to make an appointment for a while?
I appreciate the interest, but I do not have the capacity to reserve designs for clients. It is in the hands of fate if the design is still available for you by the time you are ready.
> What is your aftercare advice?
Please read my aftercare instructions in the tattoo preparation and aftercare document.
> What ink do you use?
I use a variety of different inks based on my mood and the design LOL
If you are worried about a specific allergy I can check which inks can be used during the booking process. I can work with UV ink.
> Is UV ink safe? Does it last? How can it be used?
No tattoo ink is FDA approved and all ink going into the skin is basically carcinogenic. I only use UV reactive ink from Waverly, a reputable tattoo ink company. My general opinion is that if you already have color tattoos, UV ink will react the same as those. If you google search this question you will get mixed answers and spiraling reddit threads and extremely few professional opinions. From my own research, there is no strong correlation of UV ink having more health risks than general color ink. Most concerns revolve around there being toxic chemicals inside the ink causing it to fluoresce, but this does not mean that all things that react to UV light are inherently toxic. This is not to get confused with glow in the dark ink which is definitely toxic. There could be unknown risks as it is not heavily researched. It is up to your own discretion if you want to use UV ink.
From my research and experience, the glow from the ink has varying lifespans. This is no doubt greatly affected by aftercare. I have seen UV tattoos still glowing after 2 years, but I think it should be expected that it is not going to last forever. As such, I will only use it for accent color and highlights. The ink pigment will still be in the skin even if it does not glow anymore.
> Do you do tattoo coverups? Scar coverups?
Yes! Please give your tattoo/scars at least a year to settle. The more fresh scar tissue you have, the longer I recommend you wait to tattoo over them. The more raised your scar(s) are, the more I recommend thicker/bolder line designs.
> Can I get tattooed if I have KP?
Yep! People have varying degrees of KP and it can be further discussed during the booking process.
> Do you work with numbing cream?
I will work with numbing cream. I do not supply it and I do not have recommendations for brands, please do your own research. The FDA has released a list of brands to avoid. My general opinion is that I prefer you refrain from using numbing cream. I believe through experience that numbing cream is best optimized when working on larger, bold designs instead of designs concentrated with detail in one area. I use bactine spray which is a numbing agent but it is used to prolong your stamina, not keep you numb for an extended time. Please read my tattoo preparation and aftercare for more details.
> Do you do touch ups?
Touch ups can be scheduled after your tattoo has healed for at least 3 months. The first touch up session is free if it is scheduled within the first year of your appointment! Further sessions will require a consultation based on your tattoo design. To schedule your touch up please reach out to me to see when it can be scheduled.
> Can I schedule an in person or video consultation?
Yes! You are still required to fill out a booking form beforehand.
> What are your pronouns?
No preference.
> What is the longest amount of time you can tattoo in one session?
I reach my physical limit around 7 hours.
> How long have you been tattooing for?
I have been tattooing since 2021.
> Are you open to working/collabing with other artists?
Yes! Please have already communicated with the other artist you are thinking of and provide their information in the booking form. If I am interested I will reach out to the other artist to see if we can work something out.
> What areas of the body will you not tattoo?
I will tattoo most parts of the body, even unconventional areas as long as it is part of a larger cohesive design. I will tattoo very close to but not over genital body parts if it’s for the sake of a grand vision. I will not be uncomfortable being up in your business unless you go out of your way to make me uncomfortable LOL.
> What are your tattoo interests?
I made a list of my general interests. Requesting something from my interests does not guarantee an appointment.

DISCLAIMER***
I currently have a high volume of new client requests as well as frequent return clients.
I ask that return clients please understand that I am trying to focus on large scale / intricate pieces which means there is no guarantee that I will book you again if I do not have strong interest in the design.
I ask that new clients please understand that due to the high volume of new client requests, it may take multiple requests to get an appointment, and regardless of submission number it is not guaranteed.
I wish I could clone myself and tattoo everyone in the world because I love tattooing so much!! But because I want to master this craft I have priorities that I must adhere to. I deeply appreciate everyone who is interested and supportive of my work. <3 I have created a referral sheet that I highly encourage you to check out.

There is no reschedule option for travel guest spots.
If you cancel you will not get back your deposit.
If you consistently reschedule I will not book you.
BOOKING DESIGN INFO
There are three tattoo request slots. If you are open to different pieces, you may use all three slots. You can include any combination of claimable designs, concepts, and custom requests. You can only book one tattoo piece at a time.
If you are booking for a custom request, please have references and explanations ready.
The more specific your expectations are for the design, the more material you need to provide. I have received documents of thought maps, vision boards, pinterest boards, etc. which have been very helpful to the process. Please remember that I am going to be much more selective about custom requests.
You will be able to upload 3 files on the booking form.
If you are looking to leave most of the creative process to me, I ask at the minimum that you prepare a few words that you wish to be captured by the design.
And now you’ve made it to the end!!!!!!
I sure hope you enjoyed reading all my info!
You may sign up for the client newsletter here.
